Country Cooking Classes - from foods of the world, how to use different cuts of meat, and seasonal local ingredients, to establishing your own food gardens, and kitchen confidence. To ensure that every student gets the maximum from our cooking classes, participation is limited to a maximum of 20 students, each 10 students have their own fully-equipped cooking station. More …

Food skills workshops - Learn specialist skills, cooking courses ranging from basic butchering, sausage making and charcuterie, to bread baking, cheese making, preserving, and a lot more. As these are in-depth hands-on cooking classes, we limit participation to a maximum of 16 students. More …

A morning in the Kitchen – On selected Sundays and Public Holidays Wickedfood Earth Farm prepares from a 4-course banquet to tasting menus of up to 15-courses, with all the trimmings, using the very best local, seasonal ingredients. Each meal is built around a theme, be it a national cuisine or a seasonal ingredient. Spend an extra 3 hours, prior to the lunch, from ±9am, in the kitchen with Wickedfood Earth Farm staff, asking questions, tasting and participating, while our team prepares the meal – limited to a maximum of 6 for a real hands-on working kitchen experience. Saturday 13 January - Preserving Workshop (R750pp including R250 worth of bottled fruit to take home, and lunch, from 9:30, workshop starts at 10am sharp). Its coming to the end of the fruit season. This seasons fruit on the whole, was rather disappointing, but thankfully we are in the midst of a bumper crop of Cling peaches from the cooking school food gardens. Come celebrate the crop at Wickedfood Earth Farm. At the Country Cooking School, we will show you 6 delicious ways of locking all that summer goodness up in a bottle to enjoy at a later date, as well as teaching you the secrets of successful preserving and bottling in this preserving workshop. And to crown it all off, enjoy a peach inspired lunch and take home 6 bottles of preserves one sample of each product made during the cooking workshop. More….

Sunday 28 January - BBQ inspired lunch and craft beer tasting. For this unique lunch, the Wickedfood Earth Country Cooking School staff have been inspired by the art of cooking over an open fire and the unique flavour of small batch craft beers, especially brewed for the event. The Country Cooking School staff will combine their favourite South African braai techniques, with BBQ smoking and open fire cooking techniques of the Americas, to produce some really unique meat dishes. Sunday 11, Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 FebruaryValentines Day cooking workshop and lunch  Always been very popular at Wickedfood, and we are usually fully booked by mid January. Wickedfood Earth Country Cooking School runs evening, half-day, one-day, and week-end classes and food workshops. Every student gets to participate in the preparation of every dish, and sit down to enjoy the meal they have prepared at the end of the class. Classes are limited to a maximum of 32 students, each 8 students has his/her own fully-equipped kitchen station.
