Newsletter October 2017

Hello fellow cook,

September was a good month for us at Wickedfood Earth Farm.

  • Our Sunday mezze country lunches have taken off well with both September dates well supported. We have two dates scheduled for October – 8 and 22 October, hope to see you at one;
  • Our  Food Garden Workshop was well attended. Due to demand we will be running a Charcuterie Workshop on  Saturday 14 October. This will be an introductory workshop, giving participants, the basic skills to make their own bacon, sausage and salami.
  • For Braai day we ran a special BBQ inspired lunch where we married our favourite South African braai techniques, with BBQ smoking and open fire cooking techniques of the Americas. We had such a positive response that we are planning further events around these cooking techniques. On Sunday 26 November we have scheduled a BBQ inspired lunch and craft beer tasting, which promises to be a very unique event;

Wickedfood cooking School in Sunninghill and Wickedfood Earth Country Cooking School have both become synonymous with end of year functions. If you or your company are planning an end of year function please contact us, we have some great options available.
